ALUMINUM PWR RADIATOR REVIEW
I've been running this setup on my civic/ITR hybrid for a couple days now and so far I really like it. Ive ran it semi-hard, with the AC on and let it sit there in traffic barely moving for a long period of time and the temp stays nice and cool. Cooler in fact than my stock D16Z6 did with the stock fan and radiator. My only complaint, is that when the fan kicks on its real loud and shakes the car a bit. the first time it went on i though there was something wrong with the motor. It would be a great mod for those with a turbo or needing more room in the engine bay. Had I to do it over again, id probably get in on a group buy for the C&R that comes with the spal fan for around 370. i paid 290 for the radiator shipped and 170 for the fan.

I never had a probem with my pwr and I had a 720. But I do have scotts billit oil fiter, two in-line coolers and a larger oil tank. I don't think the fan ever came on.

I have the PWR radiator and its definitely a quality product! I was wowed as soon as i pulled it out the box! It installed with ease and I put engine ice in it and it seems the fan never runs. I know for a fact my bike runs cooler now than with the stocker, plus I get compliments about it every time i go ride,(cause she blings). I dont have any experience with the others mentioned but I highly doubt that there better than the pwr.

I bought the radiator on ebay for $435 (includes shipping) from extremeparts7979.
Don't worry it was paid for by my insurance. The item was shipped in about 7 days. When I received the Item
it was packaged great but when I opened it I noticed a huge scratch across the top of the radiator.
The radiator is supposed to be an OEM replacement but the fan took some persuasion to fit. When Installing
the rad I noticed that it is made of a really soft alloy and bent VERY easily. I also found that the radiator
is made to accept the factory side trim pieces but is too wide for them to even fit on.
After I installed the rad I was unimpressed with the way that it looks. PWR also claims that the rad lowers
the engine temp by up to 25%. I noticed no difference.
To conclude, If you are looking for something that is different buy it. It does the function of a radiator.
If I had to but a new rad again I would go with the factory rad. It is cheaper, stronger, better fit, and
looks better.

This does not fit without
modifications. It took an enormous amount of
trimming/modifications to make this work. It runs
fine but I would never do that again. As far as
everything else goes I can’t complain too much. Just
don’t expect an easy install. They lose a lot of
points for that in my book.

PWR makes ok radiators. I’ve had mine for a while now and it works well and hasn’t given me any issues. However if you buy this radiator, GET IT INSTALLED. Trust me. The install was a BIG pain and out of all the ones I’ve done, this was the worst. In the long run, I haven’t had any problem s with it. it’s a good quality and fairly sturdy. So in general, not terrible, but if I bought another I would absolutely get it installed.

Someone told me to check out these radiators because I needed to replace mine and I just took their advice. My own advice is to do your homework. These are nothing exceptional. If you need one quick and don’t care too much about performance/looks then go for it, but they aren’t that special. I had trouble with fitment and had to make some modifications, which isn’t horrible but docks some points off my review. After everything was said and done, it didn’t really look that great and I still feel like I got ripped off.

Have a PWR rad in my ’92 Mitsubishi Eclipse. I had a friend help me install it because it had major fitment issues. As they say on the website actual product may vary….we had to modify a bracket and make some cuts and bends here and there. My feelings on this one are 50/50. Probably gonna look for something else but an inexperienced person may have some trouble.
