Aluminum Be Cool Radiator Review

ALUMINUM BE COOL RADIATOR REVIEW

OVERALL USER RATING

About Be Cool Radiators:

O.E.M. radiators are just that, O.E.M. They are designed to cool stock applications and overheating can take the fun out of using your specialty vehicle quickly. Now, Be Cool has your answer in one of five different radiator series: Direct-Fit, Aluminator, Qualifier, Universal, and Conversion.

Crossflow radiators are constructed with their tanks on the sides, while a Downflow radiator has its tanks on the top and bottom of the core. A commonly asked question is: Which is better, a Crossflow or Downflow radiator? The answer: Both will cool the same as long as the core surface of the radiator is the same in square inches.

Cooling monster motors, especially when faced with common problems like tight spaces and small grille openings can be a challenge. Be Cool cooling technology produces radiators that are 40% lighter than conventional O.E.M. units, yet have greater cooling power. Their epoxy-free construction provides better heat dissipation, too, while allowing complete repairability. A mirror-polished finish is an option on all Be Cool radiators.

High-quality Be Cool radiators are 100% made in the North America. Most are made for specific applications, fit without the need for major modifications, and are compatible with all coolants.

They are Guaranteed to lower your cool ant temperature a minimum of 20 degrees, or your money back! In fact most customers report even greater coolant temperature drops. If you have a stock vehicle think O.E.M., but if you have a performance vehicle you should consider Be Cool!

ALUMINUM BE COOL RADIATOR REVIEW

The Be Cool company is not standing behind a defective radiator i purchased from them. I definitely will NOT do business with them again! It leaked at one yr of use and now 2 yrs later, has the same leak, and their solution: sell me a new radiator!! Dont waste your money! When you pay their high prices, you would expect part of this goes for good customer service!

I've had a Be-cool in my 88 T/A for 3 years now...ran well, kept the car cool. I didn't even have the install problems others have had.. however the other day I noticed some steam coming out from under the hood.I figured a bad clamp/at worse a hose. But once I popped the hood up,there was a nice steady drip coming from the top of the radiator.. Took it to a repair shop and the top bar needs to be rewelded.. I was suprised to say the least..it is 3 years old so I guess anything goes after a certain amount of time..but still. I'm paying to get it rewelded since I don't feel like plucking down another $500 to get another decent radiator. I'm not bad mouthing Be-cool...it did work well...just thought I share my wonderful luck.

I also have a BeCool radiator and an Edelbrock Al. water pump. Both are certainly efficient.

All I can say is that since I've been using a BeCool and dual 12" Spal fans with my 355 in 90*+ and even with the A/C on in traffic my temp doesn't exceed 180*. Prior to these two improvements, sitting in traffic with the A/C off my temp would climb until I shut it down or got moving fast enough to cool it down. Would a less expensive setup work as well? I can't say, but I doubt it. Just my .02.

I also went with the BeCool. It was a perfect fit and has kept the car nice and cool. I've had too many bad experiences with the cheaper radiators to take a chance on losing an engine. Just my opinion here.
